When was the last time you received a $35,000 pay raise? Minnesota wages are flat but political appointees are getting big raises thanks to a law passed by liberals in the Legislature. Governor Dayton is trying to justify these outrageous pay increases by claiming that salaries have remained stagnant for twelve years, but the facts say otherwise. A state salary study shows that commissioners got $5,000 to $6,000 raises in both 2013 and 2014, making this the third consecutive year of large pay increases.
Minnesota deserves better. Tell your Senator it's time to put our families before politicians.
