When we have cultural leaders such as Linda Sarsour telling their followers not to assimilate into American culture and to embrace the philosophies that triggered the power grabbing French Revolution, we can no longer have a productive dialogue about immigration reform and whether we should bring refugees into this country. Leaders such as Sarsour and even Joe Biden say that our form of government is racist and needs to be overturned. How can we let these people determine who enters our country?
In September of 2019, President Donald Trump signed an Executive Order that gave local and state governments the right to refuse refugees. We are asking that Governor DeWine not accept any more refugees until the left in Ohio agrees to constitution based civics classes for all refugees.
Below are six arguments for why we need these civics classes, especially for any refugees and immigrants from North and West Africa.
1.) The Democratic Socialists of America plan to use Immigrants to Stack the Electorate for the Democrat Party
Eliseo Medina, the former honorary chair of the Democratic Socialists of America – the largest Marxist organization in America – and his Democratic allies, have openly expressed their desire to turn the estimated 22 million illegal immigrants now in America into Democratic voters. (1) Medina admits this will build a coalition that will allow the Democrats to elect every socialist radical to office in almost every election held in America – including Ohio’s elections. Your own position as governor of Ohio is at stake if these efforts are not stopped.
2.) The Evangelical Immigration Round Table is Working with People Who Take Money from the Marxist George Soros.
Unfortunately, in response to President Trump’s Executive Order, the Evangelical Immigration Round Table has convinced Pastors in fifteen states to sign letters asking the Governors of their respective states to settle refugees within their states. Apparently some of the states being targeted for this dump of new Democrat voters are states that are crucial to the re-election of President Trump and that he won in his 2016 Presidential campaign. The state letters signed by these evangelical leaders are posted on the website of The Evangelical Immigration Round Table and include:
Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, North Carolina, Ohio, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, and Wisconsin. The other states listed that Trump did not win in 2016 and would likely never win in the 2020 election include Washington, Illinois and California. (2)
According to Julie Roys of World Magazine, the Evangelical Immigration Round Table is partnering with the National Immigration Forum. Roys has said that over the past three years, the Forum has received more than a third of its funding – more than 4.2 million dollars – from George Soros’ Open Society and the Ford Foundation. (3) Both of these organizations are focused on establishing global government and George Soros is a known Marxist, who during a 1998 60 Minutes interview with Steven Kroft said straight up that he indeed did confiscate property from his fellow Jews while posing as a Christian and a Nazi. (4) So, although the Evangelical Immigration Round Table may not be a front for the institutional Left, the Forum very well may be. The Bible clearly tells us in Ephesians 5 not to partner with the ungodly, yet these Pastors are partnering with The Evangelical Immigration Round Table and begging for more refugees. Many of these refugees may be Islamists that want Sharia law implemented here in America.
3.) A Rising Red-Green Axis in America
Islam = Green
Marxism = Red
Although the likelihood of Islamists being successful at implementing Shariah law here in America is very slim – thanks to English common law – it is their impact on American culture that is of concern. They and their Marxist allies are focused on breaking down the foundations of our freedom from within – “the long march through the institutions” as the German Marxist activist Rudi Dutschke once said. The Islamist and Women’s March organizer, Linda Sarsour, has said that American Muslims will not assimilate to our 1776-style of freedom, and have even called for (figurative) jihad against President Trump.(5) This sounds more like 1789 French Revolution style freedom despite Sarsour saying she wasn’t calling for violence.
As argued by the Christian philosopher and apologist Os Guinness, in his book Last Call for Liberty, our freedom is based in English common law and the Jewish Sinai Covenant of Israel. (6) Islamists like Sarsour hate Israel and anything to do with the Judaism of Israel. Can we really expect Muslim immigrants from unstable Middle Eastern counties to act in anyway different than in defiance of our system of government? 1776 was about truth, 1789 was about power, and the Islamists and their Democratic allies are looking to use immigration to achieve power.
4.) The Red-Green Axis Verses English Common Law
Islamists and progressive Democrats view the US system of law, which is again based in English common law, as racist and a power play to ensure a male dominated, Euro-centric America. In fact, a few days ago Joe Biden argued, while on the campaign trail in New Hampshire, that English common law in the 1300s allowed for husbands to beat their wives, and then said that we had inherited this “cultural problem”. He continued on to say “Folks, this is about changing the culture, our culture. It’s not imported from some African nation or some Asian nation. It’s our English jurisprudential culture, our European culture, that says it’s all right.”(7) This was quite amusing considering the Quran openly calls for men to beat their wives in Sura 4:34. (8)
These accusations against English common law could not be further from the truth, as according to the historian H.W. Crocker III, “freedom was an Englishman’s right—and wherever he went, he took that right with him. . . The British always thought of themselves as liberators, as bringers of freedom. The British believed the final and necessary justification of their empire was a moral one. The British did not try to nation-build in the way we think of it now. They were under no illusions about making Arabs or Afghans or Zulus into Englishmen. They were more than content to leave people alone, to let them be themselves, to govern them with the lightest possible hand.” (9)
According to Crocker “. . . we don’t have to dig far into history, into the abolition of slavery and widow-burning, to find the British Empire on the side of moral right and freedom. We can think of events within our own lifetimes or those of our parents and grandparents. When we think of the two deadliest threats to freedom in the twentieth century, we generally think of Communism and Nazism. But how many remember that in 1940, after the Hitler-Stalin pact, and after the fall of France, one power, the British Empire, stood alone in mortal combat against the combined tyrannies of the world.” (10)
5.) Why North and West Africa was the Source of the African Slave Trade
Did you know that according to CNN, up to twenty percent of the country of Mauritania still lives in slavery today? Eighty percent of Mauritanians are Arab and the other twenty percent are Harratins, who are still enslaved to these Arabs despite slavery being outlawed in 1981.(11) These Harratins have adopted – or more likely have been forced to accept – Islam while under slavery. Imams who defend black slavery often refer back to a set of interpretive texts that date to the eighth century. One prominent example is a mukhtasar, or handbook of Islamic law, written by the fourteenth-century Egyptian scholar Khalil ibn Ishaq. Ishaq came from the Maliki School of jurisprudence within Sunni Islam. This school of Islamic jurisprudence dominates most of northern and western Africa today. In fact, Ghislaine Lydon of the University of California, Los Angeles, wrote in her 2005 article Slavery, Exchange and Islamic Law: A Glimpse from the Archives of Mali and Mauritania that theological arguments were made by Maliki jurists to justify the act of enslaving unbelievers as part of a proselytizing mission to expand the frontiers of belief in Islam.(12) In addition, Maliki Islam is most likely the school of jurisprudence that the terrorist group Boko Haram follows. It was most likely this school of Islam that captured black infidels and sold them to American and European slave traders.
According to the Huffington Post, northern Sudanese Muslims slaughtered 4 million innocent south Sudanese men, women and children between 1955 and 2005. Seven million were ethnically cleansed and they became the largest refugee group since World War II. In addition, thousands of men, women and children from the south were sold into slavery in the north as concubines, domestic servants, and farm labourers. In 2008, a member of the Sudanese Parliament in Khartoum estimated that at least 35,000 were still enslaved in the borderland of Northern and Southern Sudan. Many of the slaves were Christians taken north and forced to convert to Islam or die. (13) The Muslims in North Sudan also adhere to the Maliki School of Islamic jurisprudence.
However, calls for enslaving the infidel are not unique to North and West Africa. In November of 2017, Kuwaiti cleric Sheikh Saalim Bin Sa'd At-Taweel published a lecture on his official YouTube channel explaining the concept of jihad. According to the Middle East Media Research Institute, Sheikh At-Taweel said that while jihad has different meanings, "jihad for the sake of Allah" means fighting infidels in order to spread Islam. He further explained that slavery is part of Islam and that Muslims should not try to deny this. In fact, he said, slavery is "one of the virtues of Islam" because it provides infidels with an opportunity to become Muslims and avoid the Hellfire. (14)
In light of these facts, who is Linda Sarsour to say that America and its English common law is racist and oppressive, when these barbaric acts of slavery still go on in the Muslim world today? And why would we want to bring people here to America who are still in this mindset?
6.) Let’s Help Our Vets First
Finally, as a USA Today article a few years ago reveals, 51% of these “immigrants” will end up on some kind of government welfare. (15) Why are we funding refugees immigrants – a lot of whom do not share our values regarding freedom – when so many of our veterans, who fought to maintain our freedom, are still suffering? This is unpatriotic and unfair to our vets! Please put American vets before refugees who do not share our values by denying any further immigrant migration into the state of Ohio – especially any Muslim immigrants that come from countries that adhere to the Maliki School of Islamic Jurisprudence. Let’s reallocate those funds to help our troops who are coming home from the battlefield with PTSD and other serious health issues. They’ve earned it! No veteran should ever be homeless, addicted to drugs, or unloved because we put America-hating immigrants before them.
We need to teach refugees why America is great and not let the left try to overturn our constitutional republic. As John Adams once said "Statesmen. . . may plan and speculate for liberty. . . (but) the only foundation of a free Constitution is pure virtue, and if this cannot be inspired into people, in a greater measure than they have it now, they may exchange their rulers, and the forms of government, but they will not obtain a lasting liberty."
