Adam "Pacman" Jones, cornerback for the Cincinnati Bengals, was arrested on January 3rd in downtown Cincinnati for assault, disorderly conduct and obstructing police.
The video of his arrest went public and shows Jones repeatedly attacking the arresting officers with vulgar and undignified language. Jones calls one officer a “b---- a-- n-----” and tells him “I hope you die tomorrow.” After arriving at Hamilton County Jail, Jones spat on a female nurse which landed him an additional felony charge of harassment with a bodily substance.
The NFL’s personal conduct policy prohibits the following:
· Actual or threatened physical violence against another person
· Assault and/or battery
· Stalking, harassment, or similar forms of intimidation
· Disorderly conduct
· Crimes against law enforcement, such as obstruction, resisting arrest, or harming a police officer or other law enforcement officer
