La Paz County has a great opportunity.
We have an opportunity for new jobs and new tax revenue for local schools and our first responders.
That is why we are strongly supporting Alliance Metals USA proposed $30 million investment in our community. The new jobs will pay between $13.50 and $25 per hour. These are the type of quality jobs we need closer to home. Too many of our working families and residents commute an hour or more jobs. We need economic development like this in La Paz County that will also offer new contracting opportunities to local businesses.
Alliance Metals USA will operate a state-of-the-art, technology driven and environmentally safe recycling and manufacturing operation. The company will go above and beyond required environmental safeguards to contain emissions and protect air and water quality. Alliance Metals will have additional testing, technology, monitors and mitigation infrastructure in place at the most progressive and advanced facility of its kind in the state. There are also seven other facilities in La Paz County already with the same permits Alliance Metals USA is applying for its jobs producing investment.
We know the La Paz County Board of Supervisors wants to bring more economic development and a good paying jobs to our community. They have a prime opportunity with Alliance Metals’ proposed investment and how the county reacts to these jobs will send a message to other businesses, including those in California, who are also looking at La Paz County.
And if you have a moment, please encourage your Supervisors
Duce Minor , DL Wilson and Holly Irwin to support Alliance Metal USA’s $30 Million Investment
in La Paz County.
