Barron Trump is President
Donald Trump’s 10 year old son. He is a kid thrust into the spotlight, and some
left-wing media figures have made him a bullying target.
Rich is a writer for Saturday Night Live. On Inauguration Day, she tweeted:
“Barron will be this country’s first homeschool shooter.”
deleted the tweet, then made her account private, and then deleted her Twitter
account. That all might insulate her from the reaction, but it does nothing for
Barron and his family.
To NBC Viewers:
Regardless of your political leanings, we can all agree that no child deserves to be bullied – let alone, bullied by an adult in front of a public audience.
If NBC and Katie Rich will not issue an apology, we must vote with our views. That means protesting against SNL until the network or the writer apologizes to the First Family.
“First Kids” are not to blame for their parents’ actions. Chelsea Clinton knows this first-hand. She tweeted: “Barron Trump deserves the chance every child does – to be a kid.”
Network executives might not listen to common decency, but they will listen to ratings. Please tune out SNL until the writer or the network apologizes to the Trump family.
